1. Who is responsible for this app?
TES MED LINK GmbH is responsible for Academic Manuscript Management. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at tesmedlink@gmail.com.
2. Information you enter in the app
The app processes only the editorial-workflow information that you choose to enter. This may include journal names; volume and issue details; manuscript titles, codes, types, and statuses; author and reviewer names; reviewer decisions; notes; page ranges; and calendar deadlines or events.
We do not ask you to create an app account. Please avoid entering special-category personal data or full manuscript files unless this is necessary for your own editorial workflow and you have an appropriate lawful basis to handle that information.
3. Where your information is stored
By default, your workflow data is stored locally in the protected application area on your Mac, iPhone, or iPad. It is not sent to TES MED LINK GmbH, and we cannot view your editorial workspace.
If you enable personal iCloud sync for a journal, that journal's workflow data is stored in your private Apple iCloud account and is available only on devices signed in with the same Apple Account. If you enable team sharing, it is shared only with the people you privately invite. Apple processes iCloud data under its own terms and privacy policy. You control whether to enable sync or sharing and who can access a shared journal. TES MED LINK GmbH cannot view your private iCloud workspace.
Each journal's editorial workflow is visible only to that journal's editor and, if team sharing is intentionally enabled, to the people that editor privately invites and authorizes. Other journal editors, uninvited team members, TES MED LINK GmbH, and other third parties cannot view your editorial workflow information.
4. Exports and backups
The app can create backups and export workflow information to spreadsheet-compatible or PDF files when you choose an export location. Those files are created only at your request and are handled according to the storage location and sharing method you select.
5. Subscriptions and payments
Annual subscriptions and the 14-day free trial are offered through Apple's App Store. Purchase processing, billing, and subscription management are handled by Apple. We do not receive your payment-card information.
6. Analytics, advertising, and tracking
The app does not use third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, or analytics SDKs. It does not sell personal information or use data for targeted advertising.
7. Your choices and requests
You can edit or delete workflow information in the app, remove a shared journal, and create a backup before deleting the app. For questions about personal information under applicable privacy law, contact us at tesmedlink@gmail.com. If your request concerns information you entered locally or in your own iCloud account, you may need to use the controls on your device or in your Apple account as well.
8. Children
Academic Manuscript Management is intended for journal editorial work and is not directed to children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or applicable requirements change. The current version and its effective date will always appear on this page.
